Remarkable buddings are made in Marchance’s Spring Auctions 2019

Marchance Auctioneers Spring Auctions 2019 held on 27 May at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong. The total 645 art pieces has been sold.

There are 10 items sold for over millions of Hong Kong dollars whilist the " QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) - SEVEN CHINESE GILT-BRONZE BUDDHIST OFFERINGS" which price realized at HK$2,400,000 and become the highest bidded item of the auction!

Another remarkable bidded item was found on " NEOLITHIC PERIOD, LATE SHIJIAHE CULTURE - A CHINESE PREMIUM-QUALITY YELLOW JADE CICADA ". The price finally realized at HK$1,920,000 , nearly 10 times of the estimated price!

Marchance’s Autumn Auctions 2019 will be held in early October, meanwhile the consignment is now began until 2 August, 2019.

Marchance’s Autumn Auctions 2018 break records with total sales exceeding HK$ 100 million

Hong Kong, 30 November 2018 – Marchance Auctioneers Autumn Auctions 2018 held on 28-29 November 2018 presenting over 700 pieces of items achieved landmark success with a record HK$ 100 million (including buyer premium), twice as the auction house’s 2017 Autumn Auctions. The total transaction value of 2018 has been brought to an impressive HK$ 177.5 million, the highest annual result at Marchance with a 248% increase from 2017.

The two-day autumn auctions saw 9 items sold for over millions of Hong Kong dollars each, marking three years of continuous growth and an important milestone for Marchance on its fifth anniversary.

What’s more, 18 exquisite jade pieces lightening the whole night Ancient Chinese Jade II • The Evening Sale of Important Private Collections with HK$ 19.32 million. Mr. Lam Wai, founder and chairman of board, says, “The stirring result shows that our cultivation in ancient Chinese jade is highly recognized by collectors. Also, it proves the strategy to hold the evening sale of private collections starting from this Spring is right.”

The auction house also achieved impressive performances in the three remaining sales, Fine Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy and the new sale Magnificent Jewels and Jadeite, recording HK$ 32.31 million, HK$ 2.1 million and HK$ 14 million respectively.

他將以多年古玉鑒定經驗，帶來出土與傳世沁色的對比分析，並分享北方紅山文化與南方良諸文化、商周與戰漢玉器沁色相關的最新研究成果。
